A fruit tree care workshop that focuses on four-season care and pruning advice for beginners, hosted by John Hooper. Join us at Hunter Park for a hands-on lesson in fruit tree care! John Hooper will be showing us the best ways to prune fruit trees to encourage good health, new growth, and optimal fruiting. This workshop will also touch upon 4-season care: Soil health, fertilization, and pest and disease issues geared toward the backyard grower/gardener. In order to be able to offer exceptional gardening workshops to our community, we try to price the workshops to cover our costs of hosting them while keeping the registration affordable for our neighbors. If you can, we ask that you pay the suggested $15. You are always welcome to pay more to support our programming and subsidize attendance for other neighbors. If the cost of this workshop is a burden for you but you still want to come, we will not turn you away!
