With National Random Act of Kindness Day approaching, we are encouraging our members to join us for a Blood Drive with our partners at the Blood Bank of Alaska. What better way to spread kindness than potentially saving up to 3 lives of our neighbors in need? We need your help! Please join us on Thursday, February 17, 2022 from 8:00 AM-2:30 PM at our Anchorage Financial Center (440 E. 36th Avenue). The Blood Bank team will be set up in our St. Elias Conference Room on the 4th floor. LOCAL PATIENTS NEED YOUR HELP According to the Blood Bank of Alaska: • 1 in 7 of hospital patients currently need blood • Around 2 % of Alaskans donate blood annually • 1 in 3 Alaskans will need a blood donation in their lifetime • 1 hour is the average time it takes to save a life HOW TO DONATE Sign up here to donate or by emailing [email protected]. We will reach out to you to find a time that works best for your schedule. If you are outside of Anchorage, you can still sign up and we will send you a donation slip for your regional blood center. Remember, there is no such thing as a small act of kindness! Nuvision Alaska Nuvision Alaska Credit Union (formerly Denali Alaskan Federal Credit Union)has a long history of helping its members build better lives. We can trace our origins back to when The City of Anchorage Employees Federal Credit Union was chartered on December 6, 1948 (charter 5912) with eight members and $40 in assets. The Alaska Railroad Federal Credit Union (Charter 6244), another predecessor to Denali, was chartered in July, 1949. On Oct. 1, 2018, Denali Federal Credit Union merged with Nuvision Federal Credit Union. Born nearly a century ago as the credit union of Douglas Aircraft, Nuvision shares our long history of trying to help the hardworking people in the communities we serve build better lives. Today, Denali operates under Nuvision charter #00566 as Nuvision Alaska. Together, we serve more than 160,000 members with branches in Alaska, Arizona, California, Washington and Wyoming. We invite you to join Nuvision and create your financial future for success.
