Meet Bailey, she is a very sweet and gentle female dog, brown and white with beautiful merle spots. She is spayed. She does not need a fenced yard, she stays within her boundaries and also has excellent recall. I would guess that she is about 5 years old, she really enjoys being outside with humans, that gets her very excited and she likes to run, play and follow you. She is always paying attention to your cues. She is good with other dogs and with cats but she actually likes to be alone with humans better. She is great around young babies/toddlers/kids. We found her on El Bethel Rd in Kings Mountain last year, she was lost and super hungry, she stayed on the side of the road eating from a bag of fast food for two hours before we could get her in our car. We called the number on her collar but the people said she was not their dog… we looked on countless lost animals facebook pages to try to find her owners without luck. Animal control said they would keep an eye out for her owners for us but we received no news, they wanted to take her in, but they only keep pets for 3 days before they adopt them out and I was hoping to reunite her with her owners that were obviously taking great care of her, her collar was embroided with her name and number, unfortunately her owners must have changed phone numbers 🥺 I am looking for her last owners or for a new one that could make her happier than she is here. The reason I am looking for a new home for her is that we have many other young dogs that seems to get in her space and overwhelm her. She was obviously an only dog before, she not used to sharing her bowl with other dogs, she likes to go outside by herself much better, she is somewhat shy about moving around when the other pets are in her way. She chews on herself from stress which makes us sad to see her in distress. Asking for a $100 rehoming fee to keep her safe, negotiable for the right home.
