Across Prince William County and the northern Virginia region, cases remain near their all-time highs. COVID-19 tests are in high demand, and restocked tests quickly go out of stock. Still, public health officials are urging residents to get fully vaccinated, including a booster shot. Even for people who are not at high risk of becoming seriously ill due to COVID-19, the vaccines make them less likely to contract the virus.
