GREENWICH, CT — Bryan Miller, the former New York Times restaurant critic, will speak at Christ Church Greenwich on Sunday, Jan. 16. The event, titled "Dining in the Dark: A Famed Restaurant Critic's Struggle With and Triumph Over Depression", will feature a Q&A with David Michonski that will focus on Miller's battle with bipolar II disorder and how it has impacted his life both professionally and personally. The event will begin in-person from the Christ Church Parish Hall at 254 E. Putnam Ave. and virtually at 11:15 a.m. on Sunday. As the restaurant critic for the New York Times, Miller was a household name among restaurant goers in the greater New York City area and beyond. He dined out over 5,000 times across the United States and abroad, and established himself as a prominent restaurant critic. A graduate of Colgate University with a degree in journalism from Columbia University, Miller has won several James Beard Awards for his writing. The event on Sunday is free and open to the public. Coffee and refreshments will be served.
