Some Arlington Services Going Offline For IT Department Move

ARLINGTON, MA — Arlington's Facilities and Information Technology (IT) departments will move out of the high school this weekend to their new location at Public Works, 51 Grove Street. During the move, some phone, email and online payment services, as well as the Arlington Public Schools website, will be offline. Work will begin Friday, Jan. 14 at 4 p.m. and end by the start of business on Tuesday, Jan. 18. Services unavailable during the move: Phone calls to all Town and School buildingsEmails to all Town and School buildings, except libraryArlington Public School website (arlington.k12.ma.us)Water/Sewer online payments and bill look up - starting on Jan. 13 at 7 p.m.Services available and not impacted by the move: 911 and APD non-emergency number 781-643-1212Town website - arlingtonma.govOnline payments managed by Invoice CloudRecreation website – arlingtonrec.comLibrary emails and website – robblinslibrary.org The IT Department plans to have the data center fully operational before the start of the business day on Tuesday, Jan. 18 (Monday is a holiday). The department also would like to thank staff and residents for their patience while they make this necessary move.
