The Transportation Innovation Act recognizes the critical need for Vermont to take a leadership role in curbing greenhouse gas emissions and advancing electrified transportation. (Vermont Biz) According to the Office of the United States Attorney for the District of Vermont, Brian Thomas Badgley, 37, of Waterbury appeared yesterday in United States District Court in Burlington for an arraignment on a two-count indictment charging him with tampering with a consumer product and obtaining controlled substances by fraud. Badgely, a pharmacy manager in Vermont, entered a plea of not guilty and was released on conditions. (Vermont Biz)A beer brewer and coffee company are teaming up to open a new retail space at the former Jericho General Store on Vermont 15 on Friday. Jericho Ale and Bean features products from both Lucy and Howe Brewing and Brew House Coffee Co. The retail shop will open with Brew House Coffee Co. selling cold-brew coffee bottles in the morning and afternoon and end with Lucy and Howe selling cans of beer in the afternoon and evening.
