This year, the focus of the competition will be on Peak Innovation Park, the development site near the Colorado Springs Airport. The competing teams will be responsible for designing a 25-acre piece of the 900-acre site. (Colorado Springs Business Journal)The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) alerted the community this week about Jimmie Louis Lillie, a sexually violent predator on parole who is moving into the area. Lillie was convicted for sexual assault on a child in 2005 among other convictions he's faced throughout his criminal history. The release of this information is required by law. The CSPD has provided descriptive information about Lillie for those interested. (FOX21News.com)The City Council of Colorado Springs is looking for volunteers to fill commission seats on a volunteer basis. The Law Enforcement Transparency and Accountability Commission (LETAC) helps serve as an intermediary between the police and the public.
