MAHWAH, NJ — The Mahwah Museum has closed for in-person viewing through January as a spike in COVID-19 cases continues.
"Due to the current nature of the Covid-19 Omicron virus the Mahwah Museum will be closed to public viewing through January 28," officials said.
Public visitations and events have been postponed and rescheduled for a later date, museum officials added.
"As soon as it is safe to do so, we will post reopening dates and rescheduled events," officials said.
The next event at the museum is scheduled for Feb. 7, but officials haven't yet said if it will open prior to that date, or if the closure could be extended.
