Here are the top four stories today in New Orleans: Significant COVID-19 outbreaks have been reported at the New Orleans jail and across Louisiana state prisons. This only exacerbates their previous problem of low staffing. (The Lens)New Orleans musician Irvin Mayfield and his business partner have reported to federal prison to begin serving their sentences for diverting 1.3 million from the New Orleans Public Library Foundation into their personal accounts this week. (WDSU New Orleans) In an update from NOPD on the four juveniles who escaped from Youth Center in New Orleans. One suspect has been caught and taken into custody but the other three are still on the run. (WAFB) NOPD is asking for public assistance in locating a 33-year-old man who went missing in New Orleans after traveling here for business last week.
