Description
Assist attorneys as Litigation Paralegal and provide administrative support to the Law Department. Duties require professionalism, responsibility, and organization. Work involves computer literacy, excellent writing and grammar, deadline management, ability to learn new skills and systems, and a good working knowledge of the day-to-day operation of county government business. Tasks include, but are not limited to, legal filing; drafting documents and discovery; organizing and maintaining case files; creating litigation binders; drafting correspondence and legal document templates; legal research; preparation of check and purchase requests; screening telephone calls and visitors; scheduling appointments; providing support for responses to Right to Know requests; assisting with budget preparation; and coordinating reporting claims to insurance carriers.
