Press release from the Frankfort Park District: 2022-01-12 The rink was constructed last week but the liner was damaged. When crews attempted to add additional water there were holes in the liner which allowed for water to leak out. Crews have repaired the liner and installed layers of water. However the warm up has created ponding/puddling. At this time, please stay off the rink. When the ice is soft, skating on it can further damage the liner and may result in the rink being closed.
