Job Description: This position is responsible for directing 2 – 4 crew members in daily operations including quality control, training, punctuality, and safety. Candidates must also have strong organization skills, the ability to complete appropriate paperwork, and possess good leadership and communication skills. The employee will provide quality service that meets or exceeds our customer's and management’s expectations. The employee will show attention to detail and effectively communicate with subordinates, peers, and his/her supervisor. All employees will possess a friendly, customer service-minded attitude and will conduct themselves in a professional manner. Responsibilities: 1. Work in conjunction with the Project Manager/Designer to ensure the work sold is implemented efficiently and according to the contract specifications. 2. Provide management and labor associated with the preparation, establishing correct grades/elevations, excavation, and installation of paver patios, walkways, and retaining walls, water gardens, landscape lighting, sediment control , and lawn installation. 3. Delegate labor-related tasks to crew members to ensure the project is being done in a speedy and efficient manner. 4. Provide “on the job” training to crew members. 5. Oversee proper safety equipment and Personal Protective Equipment usage and practices of the crew. 6. Proactively addresses questions or concerns with the crews and generally cares for the welfare of the crew members. 7. Proactively addresses questions or concerns from the clients. 8. Communicate customer’s questions immediately with the Install manager. 9. Use company vehicle/trailer to procure material needed material from vendors. 10. Update the Project Manager with the status of the work progress. 11. Before departing from the job site, plan for the following day and assign tasks for crew members to start on the following day. Requirements: 1. Must Possess a valid Tx Driver's License. 2. Legally eligible to work in the U.S.A. 3. Able to communicate in English/ Bi-lingual is ideal. 4. Highly Proficient in pulling a trailer. 5. 3 + Years of professional landscape experience. 6. Basic knowledge of Irrigation systems 7. Must be able to lead by example. 8. Basic familiarity with all phases of residential landscaping.
