Our children rescued two little puppies from the fires of September of 2020 here in East County. One of our children went to college out of state and the other is taking one of the dogs with him in a couple of weeks. That will leave Ruby all by herself here at the ranch.
We live on a large ranch but our fenced back yard is small and that is where Ruby would spend most of the rest of her life alone. The reason? She kills chickens and ducks. As such, she cannot roam our ranch freely but would be amazing for anyone who does not have birds free ranging.
Ruby is the sweetest, most snuggly girl ever. She is small in stature, about 28 lbs., full grown. She is house trained and spayed and has all her shots. We love her but but we also want the best life for her. Alone in our back yard is not it.
If you can provide any surroundings without chickens or ducks and lots of love, she would be an amazing pet for your family.
