Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Performs various installations/decommission duties including delivery, assembly/disassembly, installation, repair and service of office furniture and products. • Interpret technical documents, such as diagrams, schematics, blueprints, or other verbal or written instructions. • Use tools to make or repair parts and products. • Works independently or with other members of the team in order to assemble products. • Inspects product(s) for proper functionality. • Identify any defective items and handle according to established procedures. • Keep a clean and tidy workspace. • Meets all safety requirements of the company and industry. • Ability to use reason and solve problems as they arise. • Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor. • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures. • Occasional travel required. Work Experience Requirements: • Cubicle system experience preferred. • Ability to drive a 16’-26’ box truck is a plus. • General knowledge of basic hand tools • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by and employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions. • Must be able to lift/move 70-100lbs and carry up to 50 lbs. • Activities include using a pallet jack/dolly to move furniture and tools to assemble or repair furniture. • Regularly operates warehouse equipment and lightweight tools. Using proper safety procedures will eliminate any potential hazards. • Basic English language skills (both verbal and written communications)
