Position Summary: Primarily responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of all the components of the irrigation system. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: • Perform underground irrigation maintenance and service work as assigned • Repair, test, and troubleshoot underground lawn sprinklers, including water lines, and valves • Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures. • Ability to perform irrigation tasks such as operate timers, clocks, and controls for sprinklers. • Knowledge of manual and/or computerized irrigation systems • Effectively identify irrigation system issues not listed on work orders and communicate in a timely manner with the manager on these issues • Correctly document all labor time, component inventory and equipment used on all work orders for proper billing. • Ensured quality guidelines are exceedingly met. • Comply with all safety regulations. Qualifications • 2 years of experience working with commercial and/or residential irrigation system including underground lawn sprinkler system repair and installation. (Licensed or Certified is a plus) • Dependability • Able to communicate effectively, both written and orally. • Able to work in a team environment, as well as individually. • Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions. • Able to work long hours. • Ability to lift 50 Lbs. • Must have a valid Driver’s License.
