Commercial Architectural Products, Inc., has been a manufacturer of aluminum building products since 1981. We operate nationally with manufacturing and sales warehouses in Englewood, Colorado. CAP, Inc. offers a variety of sheet metal products and fabrication services. From design through finished product, our quality and performance make us first choice for a fast moving, competitive market. CAP, Inc. has an immediate full time opening for a welder position. Weld parts to customer specifications using customer blueprints and shop reference drawings. Welding Process': TIG, MIG, spot and projection welding. Material Types: steel, stainless, aluminum (various alloys). Material Thickness:.020'' thick up to.500''thick. This is not an entry level position - we are looking for someone with experience. A Large portion of our welding work is aluminum 4-sided pans and shadow boxes with corner welding. Must be able to read and interpret blueprints. Must be able to measure and inspect parts using various methods (calipers, tape measure, square, height gage, etc..) Must be able to operate and setup various welding machines: Miller, Lincoln, etc inspect parts with, calipers, measuring tapes and protractors, review and interpret drawings for dimensions and tolerances, (deburring and grinding with handheld equipment) Authorized to work in the US At least 18 years of age Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Detail oriented Ability to receive direction and work with others as a team Any job related certifications are a plus (OSHA training, first aid & CPR, etc, Forklift) Steel toed / Graphite boots. *This is a labor intensive position and requires heavy lifting (up to 90 lbs) and being on your feet for long periods of time.
