Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: • Pick up trash and keep community dumpster area clean and accessible, making repairs when needed • Clean and maintain pet stations throughout community • Ensure mulch, rock and other decorative landscape is raked, organized and well-presented • Assist maintenance teams with apartment trash-outs and construction debris removal • Report directly to the maintenance supervisor for all tasks and special projects • Remove debris from stairs and walkways, rake leaves, and mow lawns • Water trees, shrubs, and lawns and perform irrigation activities • Spray for weeds and insects using unrestricted chemicals as required • Operate large power lawn mowers, edgers, hand tools, and large vehicles associated with grounds maintenance and landscaping activities • Power washing • Clean common areas (clubhouse, fitness center, mail room, leasing office, hallways, restrooms, meeting room, pool area) • Clean vacant apartments for move-in ready condition • Clean and keep up appearance of model apartment homes • Maintain, inventory and organize supplies • Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, rug cleaners, polishers • Handle cleaning supplies, chemicals, solvents • Empty wastebaskets and trash receptacles • Clean wash basins, commodes and mirrors • Perform minor maintenance and repair equipment and tools as required • Assist in the maintenance of parking lots and other surfaces, including asphalt repairs and minor masonry or plastering work as required • Shovel and remove snow and ice from designated areas such as sidewalks, stairs and entryways as required • Install and remove outdoor signs, parking and traffic control barriers, and overhead banners as required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Knowledge of equipment, tools, and procedures of grounds construction and care • Skill in operating grounds maintenance and grounds construction equipment Minimum Qualifications: One year of grounds maintenance, landscaping, janitorial, restaurant experience; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved Schedule: Full-Time & Part-Time shifts available immediately for multiple properties in all areas of Front Range Colorado • Mon-Fri • Times between 8am – 6pm **Winter season may include weekend coverage and earlier start times for snow removal About Professional Perspectives: Professional Perspectives brings over 20 years of combined industry leadership.
