ROLE: 70% in Warehouse; Drives flow of product through our warehouse. Warehousing new inventory; picking, loading, packaging, staging doors and related products for our customers. 30% Driving; Transport materials to our various customers in a safe and timely manner while maintaining the highest level of quality, service, and support. HOURS: Full-time, 40-50 hours per week, Monday-Friday. Weekends off and home daily. RESPONSIBILITIES: Warehouse Team Member: Stock all warehouse bins. Assist in the cycle count process. Prepare customer orders by pulling and packaging products per branch SOP. Prepares and packages intercompany product transfers. Deliver completed orders to assigned staging area. Load customer will call orders. Identify damaged, lost or missing product and notify supervisor immediately. Truck Driver: Maintain work records, logs, and time sheets. Perform pre & post trip inspections. Inspect material securing equipment such as cables, chains, binders and straps and inform supervisor of any defects in need of attention. Secure all materials properly to insure safe transport and compliance with DOT regulation. Assist with loading, unloading of materials and coordinates activities of workers helping to load and unload. COMPETENCIES REQUIRED: Good knowledge of roads. CDL Class A required. 1 year of warehouse experience. Reach truck/lift experience. We are a narrow-aisle forklift environment and use forward-facing stand-up reach forklifts, order pickers, and sit-down. Flexibility to constantly changing conditions-both as they relate to work schedule, and conditions. Able to perform frequent or continuous lifting, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling climbing or similar body and limb movement. Able to regularly lift/move/manipulate up to 70 pounds, and occasionally lift door units up to 100 pounds.
