We’re looking for adults ages 21-45 who have used opioid medications recreationally to participate in a research study examining the effects of oxytocin and oxycodone on decision-making and behavior. The hormone, oxytocin, may interact with an opioid, a pain reliever that is sometimes used recreationally, so we want to understand how oxytocin interacts with the drug oxycodone to affect physical sensations, as well as how it makes you feel. What will I do if I participate? 1 screening visit & 6 session visits. Held in private setting with medically trained staff in UF research facilities.
