Atlanta GA
Description
Currently living in Chicago and need a change of environment. Life has become unliveable up here and I am looking for a change within the next couple of weeks. Taking a leap of faith. Take away a man's livelyhood and he might just get up and leave and never return. With that being said, I am excited to be apart of the musical fabric that makes Atlanta one of the most dynamic musical hubs in our country. As the title mentions, I am looking for individuals or start-ups. My influences range from The Strokes, The Smashing Pumpkins, The Smiths, Oasis, Megadeth, The Cure, Pantera, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Hootie, D'Angelo, Old school hip hop, Gojira and many more. If its sonically pleasing then I am all for it. From classical to electronic music to banging pots and pans. I appreciate it all. My guitar style is steeped in 70s guitar riffs with some jazz mixed in amongst the blues and the punk haze. My greatest attribute has always been my composing of original songs and my lyricism. Over the years I have written many songs and have written songs for some local garage bands as well. Moreover, my songs have only gotten better over the years. I can play my leads whilst singing and my rhythm as I said has some cool jazz flavor to it that really enhances the overall rock vibe. I would like to find a band or musicians who are open to playing some of my songs and develop them. People often say my songs sound like Smashing Pumpkins, The Strokes, and Hendrix/Sabbath I have been in bands where we had multiple writers and it caused more strife than anything. I have also been in bands where I was not the songster of the group and everything was much easier and fluid where we had one or two spear heading the musical direction. Just my experience. Lastly, I will provide a link to a song I wrote on acoustic not too long ago. Sabbath vibes mixed with a bit of garage rock. I have albums worth of material to make a career with...
