I just moved to the area from the Philadelphia region and am open to the following: • Jam – regular get together to have fun, improvise, and learn songs • Singer-Songwriter – I love backing/collaborating with singer-song writers • Band – casual, 1-2 gigs per month, festivals, original/select covers My musical interest vary – Americana, Afrobeat, Country, roots, soul, funk, rock, indie, jazz…. I am big fan of Grateful Dead, The Band, John Prine, Gillian Welch, Amanda Shires, Joni Mitchell, Dylan, Townes Van Zandt, Neil Young, Pink Floyd, Lucinda Williams, Bill Frisell, John Scofield, etc. I also dig newer bands like Vetiver, Sam Amidon, Molly Miller….. I play mainly electric, but can play at a reasonable volume to blend with an acoustic situation. I am 51, wife, kid, and career - i take music seriously, but I do not need to be playing paying gigs.
