We have partnered with TEKsystems to recruit, train and hire entry-level Low Voltage Telecommunications positions around Framingham and Manchester. We're recruiting candidates that would like to learn the telecommunication installation trade - no prior experience required! Per Scholas is seeking applicants for our 5-week cost-free training that will prepare you for Low Voltage Cabling Install positions with our employer partner, TEKsystems, looking to hire for projects in Framingham, MA and Manchester, NH. Expectation will be to convert full-time with a company after a post-training 6-month contract through TEKsystems. The ideal candidate for this opportunity is motivated, reliable and is looking to receive technical training, professional development, career coaching and job placement. The training is 5-weeks, Monday-Friday 9am-4pm. It is virtual for the first 3 weeks Requirements: --Must have at least a High School diploma or GED --Must be authorized to work in the US --Must have a passion for learning and jumpstarting a career in technology --Must be able to commit a Monday - Friday, 9:00am – 4:00pm --Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs, and climb ladder (not afraid of heights) 4-5 feet --Must be able to distinguish between colored cables --Must have reliable transportation --Must be able to commute up to 1 hour from Framingham or Manchester Throughout our training, we will work with you on technical skills as well as regular professional development like resume reviews, mock interviews, and one-on-one mentoring. After you graduate, we'll connect you directly to jobs at TEKsystems and other employer partners. Also, Per Scholas will continue to provide ongoing career coaching, networking, and career services support.
