Marriage can be much more than a punchline or something we endure. We teach a simple biblical formula for marriage that will help you. In 90 minutes or less, Jeff Plunkett (licensed professional counselor), will teach you some simple and applicable things that will transform your marriage (or upcoming marriage). After 28 years of counseling couples and deep study of both biblical narratives and human functioning, Jeff has developed a process of equipping couples that actually simplifies marriage to become the permanent and joyous relationship for which God designed. Most marriage trainings becomes frustrating to the marriage because the couple is asked to add numerous tasks to an already taxing list. After about 48 hours or less, the couple is right back to where they started or worse off because now they feel like they have failed to keep a list of tasks that others must be doing. The biblical guidance for marriage is extremely simple and, most importantly, achievable. This short training will give you the single most powerful solution for marriage that is so simple, the harest part will be not trying to make it more difficult. In fact, most people are already making marriage much more difficult simply because they don't understand a foundational principle of God and His creative design. This training is provided by the community investment efforts of Life Christian Academy in Nicoma Park at 11601 Jeffords Ave. The very minimal fee of $5.00 per person includes snacks. Participants will be given the opportunity to ask specific or clarifying questions during the event. The majority of time will be given to addressing "real life" issues as presented by participants. COVID PROTOCOLS: The facility will be sanitized in preparation for the event. Coordinators will monitor pandemic conditions as the event draws closer and information will be updated if necessary. Masks are most certainly welcome and the population of the event is limited to provide spacing in the venue.
