4-hour CE course focused on understanding the concepts of pricing determinations for residential, investment, and commercial real estate
This 4-hour course provides a solid foundation for understanding the concepts of pricing determinations for residential, second-home/investment, and commercial real estate. Through exposure to real-world applications, students will develop an understanding of the essential concepts and underpinnings of residential, second-home/investment, and commercial real estate investment, and asset valuation. Topics include the nature of real estate and real estate markets, and real estate valuation concepts and techniques. We will discuss a property-level income statement and pro forma analysis, capitalization rates, comparative analysis, and analyzing the deal. There are no course prerequisites, but students should have a basic understand of Sales Comparison Approach, Cost-Depreciation Approach, and Income-Capitalization Approach. Lunch will be provided.
