Construct a sturdy, interesting basket for storage, gifting, or even use as an Easter basket. Construct a sturdy, interesting basket for storage, gifting, or even use as an Easter basket. Students will learn and use the sewing machine and basic construction skills. All materials provided and included in class cost, however, if preferred, students may bring a fabric of their choosing. Contact [email protected] for specific details if you would like to bring your own fabric. ages 16+ This is a one-session class held March 6th, 2022, 11-3 PM at Spark Makerspace 7 Union Street New London CT 06320. Spark Makerspace is a nonprofit membership-based organization in downtown New London, Connecticut. Our mission: Supporting makers with the space, equipment, education, and community to create a spark in their creativity. Members contribute monthly dues to share a full woodshop, 3D printers & electronics, printmaking studio, painting and drawing studio, glass arts, sewing room, shared office, classrooms space, and much more.
