PRESTIGE MARINE Well established Premier Mercury Marine dealer looking to hire Marine Technician to join our team! We are specifically looking for a full-time Marine Technician experience preferred but will train the right technician. Candidate must be able to operate with minimum supervision as a technician along with strong attention to detail, cleanliness and organization, ability to multitask in a high volume, fast paced environment. Must be able to work in a team environment. Experience Computer knowledge and experience with automotive and/or marine diagnostic software Experience in the repair of Mercury Marine engines Basic computer proficiency Prior experience as a mechanic Experience in marine industry Forklift experience Towing and boating experience is a bonus Skills Strong mechanical aptitude’s and troubleshooting skills Ability to provide own tools and toolbox Strong technical and customer service skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Punctual with effective time management skills Self-motivated and goal-oriented Eager to learn about new products and their applications Positive attitude! Responsibilities Demonstrate the ability to properly utilize technical information as well as installation and application guidelines as required for the task. Work in a team environment to fully utilize internal company assets as well as outside resources when responding to customer requirements. Maintain the highest level of professional standards when discussing work with customers, suppliers, and team.
