A Date Night on us for NW Iowa Coaches and Wives! We will be hosting a coaches timeout and date night on us. We are serving prime rib and you will also hear a special message from NW Iowa FCA Director Adam Timmerman along with our guest speaker Tim & Kris Boettger. Tim & Kris Boettger live and minister together in Cedar Falls, Iowa. In addition to being a wife, mother & grandmother, Kris runs Barn Happy, a restaurant, coffee shop, and Iowa goods store in a barn on their acreage. She has also worked as a Dale Carnegie Instructor & Children’s Ministry Director. After spending 20 years as a Teaching Pastor & Director of Marriage Ministries at Orchard Hill Church in Cedar Falls, Tim now serves as The Director of Spiritual Care in The Western Home Communities in Northeast Iowa where leads a “Fresh Wind” Sunday worship service that serves a multigenerational, non-denominational congregation. He is also a speaker on the Christian Crusaders radio and internet ministry. The couple also has two grown children. Their eldest son Isaac (wife Katie and son Clay and daughter Kiley) played college football as a lineman for the Iowa Hawkeyes and is currently a guard in the NFL on the Buffalo Bills football team. Their daughter Adrienne was an all-American basketball player in college and now teaches math and coaches the women’s basketball team at Waterloo Christian School in Waterloo, Iowa. Tim and Kris met at an FCA huddle meeting while in college at Central College in Pella, Iowa. They both share a passion for the Kingdom of God, the importance of strong families & marriages, and the power and grace of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. They look forward to coming and sharing in this time together with all who will be in attendance. Michael De Jong - Sioux County FCA Area Rep
