All Quiet on the Western Front 1930 movie
Enjoy a night at the historic Aztec Shawnee Theater with 1930’s Best Picture Oscar winner All Quiet on the Western Front. Set during World War I, the film follows battle-hungry young German soldiers with visions of glory quickly disillusioned by combat, which has turned into a hellish fight for survival. Lewis Milestone won a Best Director Oscar for his adaptation of Erich Maria Remarque's classic antiwar novel.
Tickets are $5 and available through the link below. Doors open at 6:00pm and the film starts at 7:00pm. Friends of Shawnee Town 1929 are free with pre-registration by calling (913) 248-2360.
