Learn what it means to practice self-love in this 2-hour workshop facilitated by the Author of the "Self-Love Workbook", Dr. Shainna Ali. This February give yourself the gift of learning more about what it means to practice self-love! Join us for this two-hour, interactive workshop facilitated by the Author of the "Self-Love Workbook," Dr. Shainna Ali. Not only will you learn what it means to practice self-love, but you will be guided through self-exploration exercises, and end your time with a vision board! Each participant will receive a copy of the "Self-love Workbook," materials for a vision board, and refreshments! **Please note that this is an indoor event. Due to the rise of cases in COVID-19, we ask that everyone where a mask. Learn more about the hosts of this event: From Outside In: From Outside In is a 501c3 non-profit organization that aims to inspire confidence in the lives of youth. Our main program is our clothing program - we invite youth who are in need to shop from our retail store, completely for FREE. Youth are referred to us from various non-profit organizations, including foster youth, youth experiencing homelessness, youth who identify as LGBTQ, refugee youth, and more. We provide programming that helps inspire confidence in individuals. Website: fromoutsidein.org Dr. Shainna Ali: Dr. Shainna is a mental health counselor, educator, and advocate who is passionate about destigmatizing mental health counseling and helping individuals worldwide recognize the importance of fostering mental wellness. She is the author of The Self-Love Workbook, The Self-Love Workbook for Teens, Luna Finds Love Everywhere: A Self-Love Book for Kids. She has been featured in outlets such as ABC, CBS, NPR, Washington Post, and Insider. Dr. Shainna is the owner of Integrated Counseling Solutions, LLC, a strengths-based clinical mental health and consulting practice located in Downtown Orlando. She enjoys teaching future counselors and has taught at the University of Central Florida, Rollins College, Northwestern University, and The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Beyond the classroom, she is committed to mental health advocacy in a variety of ways such as serving on and serving on the boards of the Mental Health Association of Central Florida and From Outside In. Dr. Shainna has been honored with the Association for Specialists in Group Work's Al Dye Award, the Pete Fischer Humanitarian Award, and the 30 under 30 award by her alma mater, the University of Central Florida for her efforts in promoting mental wellness. When she is not working on professional mental wellness, she spends her time investing in her own self-love by spending time with her loved ones, practicing yoga, and traveling to new places.
