This series will discuss Jonathan Edwards's understanding of spiritual affections.
Every winter, Central Seminary conducts the MacDonald Lectures Series in Bible and Theology. This academic lecture series was created in memory of Charles MacDonald, Th.D. (1903–1971), beloved professor of pastoral theology at Central Seminary.
For this series, Dr. Ryan Martin will explore Jonathan Edward's understanding of gracious spiritual affections. These lectures will focus specifically on historical and theological contexts as well as implications in contemporary religious thought.
