Join WHF soil biologist, Allen Skinner, for an interactive workshop on soil biology and compost making. White Harvest Farms invites you to attend an educational composting class led by our soil biologist, Allen Skinner. He is studying to be a Soil Food-web Consultant through Dr. Elaine Ingham’s program www.soilfoodweb.com. In this class the group will receive an overview of WHF NRCS grant findings, compost and soil biology explanation and a hands-on compost making portion. COVID Details - this event is all outdoors and social distancing is encouraged. Other details: This will be hands on / outdoors / buggy so please come prepared with light weight long sleeve clothing, close toe shoes, gloves, bug spray, hat, sunscreen and a water bottle. We work in light rain. Thunderstorms will cancel this event. Dress for weather success!
