Description

Harbortown Music, a Marblehead-based music promotional resource venture, is excited to present a streaming benefit for the victims of the December 30 fires in Boulder County, Colorado. Seven different musical acts donated their time and talent to this event. Each have been touched by the beauty of the Colorado wilderness and wanted to help out. All proceeds will go to Colorado Gives to a special fund earmarked for the hundreds of people who lost everything in the fires. Colorado residents, Teresa Storch and Peter Lacis, opened their homes to relatives who were displaced due to the fires. Ryan Fitzsimmons' cousin lost his home and everything in it. Shanna in a Dress has a friend who lost a beloved pet during this event. In addition, the other musicians in this show--John Powhida, Chris O'Brien, Justin Roth, and Darryl Purpose, all have Colorado connections having either lived there or played there. Colorado is the home of the Rocky Mountain Folks Fest as well as the Telluride Bluegrass Festival where many artists had breakthrough performances that helped further their careers. We hope that you can join us on Sunday, January 16 at 7:00 p.m. EST and make a donation of any amount. Harbortown Music is delighted to sponsor this show. It will be broadcast on both YouTube and Facebook. Information about donations can be found on the Harbortown Music website. Please sign up for our email list. Another virtual show is happening on Wednesday, January 26. Don't miss a beat. Sign up and stay in touch. You can also write to [email protected] if you have any questions or comments.
