BROOKLINE, MA — The Brookline Commission for Women (BCW) has opened nominations for Brookline Women of the Year awards.
BCW, whose mission is to promote equity and justice for all self-identifying women and girls, will honor up to five nominees at a virtual event on Wednesday, Match 23 at 7:30 p.m.
Nominations will be accepted until the end of the business day on Friday, Feb. 18. Here is a list of criteria:
Nominees must be women who made a significant positive impact on the community, or at the state or national level, in 2021Nominees must currently live or work in BrooklineNominees may be individuals or a team of two or more women who worked togetherNominees may not be current candidates for townwide elected office in Brookline, current members of the Commission for Women, or past Woman of the Year award recipients (see a list of past honorees on the BCW website)Nominations may not be made by a family member of the nominee (s)To access the Nomination Form, click here.
