Hello, Professional musician looking for work! I have stage presence, can be whatever you want. I've done silly gigs, and professional "suit and tie" stuff. I'm looking for commission/gig work. I play Trumpet, Piano, Electric Bass, and Trombone. Trumpet is my primary. I'll play gigs, do session work in the Humboldt area, and/or compose/arrange for you. I teach trumpet, electric bass, piano, music theory, and composition lessons. I've taught children and teenagers before, so I can teach absolute beginners. Depending on the pay I'm open to a touring group. I'm open to playing in multiple groups. Contact me with details. I can do background music for events: solo jazz piano, groovy bass background stuff, or melodies on trumpet/trombone (I can switch back and forth if you really want), etc. Whatever you want basically. Let's talk about it. Bachelors Degree from HSU in Music Composition. Trumpet experience playing in large and small jazz groups, and funk groups. Experience on electric bass with large jazz bands, rock, funk, jazz combos, metal, experimental. Piano in solo and jazz combo settings. Trombone experience in jazz combo and funk settings. I compose primarily in contemporary classical and jazz styles. I also have two years experience scoring videos. Familiar with many styles. Three years of music theory teaching and tutoring at CR and HSU. Three years of composition and arranging lessons. One year of jazz composition lessons. Six years of private trumpet study. 14 years of playing electric bass (mostly not via lessons, just on my own). Took one semester of jazz bass lessons from a traveling Juliard graduate. Played with many people. Setting Does not matter, I can match whatever you want. Or lead a group if that's what you want. I'm not one of those "turbo slappers," but I can groove hard. I can play in "whacked out" meters if you want. Seven years of private piano study. One year of trombone private study, have been playing off and on for 3 years. *I've practiced trumpet much more in recent years than my other instruments.
