Oswego student participates in Carthage College Christmas concert Adam Johnson of Oswego participated in Carthage College's annual Christmas Festival.Yearly, Carthage College invites the community to celebrate the joy of the holiday season at the annual Carthage Christmas Festival, three performances of readings and music in the A. F. Siebert Chapel. These annual concerts are the College's Christmas gift to the community. — Merit Page News Grace Pagone earns University of Nebraska-Lincoln degree Grace Pagone, of Oswego, was among 1,316 graduates who received degrees from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln during commencement exercises Dec. 17 and 18 at Pinnacle Bank Arena. Pagone earned a Bachelor of Journalism from the College of Journalism and Mass Communications. The graduates are from 41 countries, 43 states and the District of Columbia, and more than 150 Nebraska communities. — Merit Page News Oswego students named to MSOE honors list for fall quarter Milwaukee School of Engineering congratulates students named to the Fall Quarter 2021 Honors List. Jacob Bentz of Oswego (60543) was named to the MSOE Honors List. Bentz is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management. Julia Kalish of Oswego (60543) was named to the MSOE Honors List. Kalish is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering. Hannah Knoblock of Oswego (60543) was named to the MSOE Honors List. Knoblock is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Nathan Kennedy of Oswego (60543) was named to the MSOE Honors List. Kennedy is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Ethan Kroner of Oswego (60543) was named to the MSOE Honors List. Kroner is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Andrew Torres of Oswego (60543) was named to the MSOE Honors List. Torres is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Ian Glashagel of Oswego (60543) was named to the MSOE Honors List. Glashagel is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering. Undergraduate students who have earned a GPA of 3.20 or higher (out of 4.) for this quarter are on the Honors List. — Merit Page News Oswego student performs in nationally televised "Christmas at Belmont" concert Madelynn Miller of (60543) joined nearly 650 Belmont University students and faculty in the performance of this year's "Christmas at Belmont," airing on PBS for 19th straight holiday season. "Christmas at Belmont" premiered December. 20 on PBS stations across the country, with encore broadcasts scheduled for Christmas night. This year's performance of "Christmas at Belmont" included an array of traditional carols, classical masterworks and seasonal favorites in addition to selections from Belmont alumnus Josh Turner's new Christmas album. Produced by Nashville Public Television (NPT), "Christmas at Belmont" was taped live for the first time in the newly opened Fisher Center for the Performing Arts on the University's campus.
