Description

Press release from the Wright County Government: January 11, 2022 The Minnesota Department of Transportation has announced three areas of repair work that will be done that will reduce the available lanes of traffic on I-94 in Wright County Wednesday, Jan. 12. The first is a westbound lane closure between Hwy. 8 in Hasty and Hwy. 24 in Clearwater from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. while repair work is being done on the high-tension cable barrier line alongside the freeway. There will still be two lanes available as that section of I-94 now has three lanes. The second will be between Hwy. 241 in St. Michael and Hwy. 101 in Rogers. Eastbound traffic will be reduced to one lane from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. while road maintenance operations are taking place. Look for flaggers and delays with this project. The third will be nighttime construction work on eastbound I-94 from the exits for Co. Rd. 18 in Monticello and Co. Rd. 19 in Albertville. Traffic will be reduced to one lane between 7 p.m. and 3 a.m. for road maintenance operations. While the Hasty to Clearwater lane closure likely won't result in significant traffic delays, depending on the time of day you're driving, the other two may potentially cause delays.
