RICHFIELD, MN — Though 2022 has only just started, the fall midterm elections are already on the minds of politicians in Minnesota and across the nation. Most of the elected officials in statewide offices must run for reelection. However, neither Sen. Amy Klobuchar nor Sen. Tina Smith will have to run this year. Klobuchar is next up for reelection in 2024. Smith is up in 2026.
