*****Roger Dodger needs our help! *****PLEASE READ BELOW, IF YOU FEEL THAT YOU CAN HELP THIS SWEET BOY! PLEASE REACH OUT ASAP!! When this boy came into the shelter back in JUNE he was considered dog social (with dogs his size), people friendly, he is around 4 years old, he knows sit and takes treats gently, potty trained and easy for volunteers to walk. Over 200 days in the county shelter and 2 homes later, no fault of his own, we are sad to see this sweet and resilient dog is still looking for his forever family. Roger has some quirks, but he is motivated by a confident handler and praise. He enjoys enrichment activities and training exercises… and has a brain that is ready to be put to work! Although he might not be ready to live with other dogs right now he is easily redirected from becoming reactive on walks with a little food encouragement. Roger loves meeting new people and the medical concerns regarding his skin have improved remarkably thanks to the assistance of his sponsors. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, he's ready to go today! What Roger needs above all else is someone willing to provide the structure and regiment that he craves. He would likely do best as an only pet (at this time) with no young children in the home. If you or anyone you know is qualified and able to help
