Culver City Crossroads
January 12, 2022
Just over four years from start to finish, The Brick and The Machine is now complete at the corner of Washington and Delmas downtown.
Replacing the previous Bank of the West locale, the mixed-use project varies three- and four-story interconnected buildings with 90,000 square feet of space. Interior offices, ground-floor commercial space, and a landscaped roof terrace sit on top of parking for 250 vehicles sits in a subterranean garage.
Abramson Architects notes, "The exterior façade is a contemporary interpretation of the historic brick landmarks in the area. The Machine features a series of movable exterior screens that offer glare and temperature control."
"The goal was to create a jewel box building with ample indoor-outdoor space, which today is all the more important given tenants' focus on health and wellness," said Timan Khoubian, managing director with DLJ Real Estate Capital Partners.
Culver City Crossroads is the prime source for news, events, politics, education and culture. they are here to serve the community, create connections, and have fun.
