Support Services Technicians (SSTs) inventory and restock ambulances, decontaminate equipment and pick up and deliver equipment and supplies to work locations spread throughout our service area.
The SST position is an entry-level position, designed for those who want to go on to be an EMT and eventually a Paramedic. After working as an SST, you would be eligible to be sponsored to an EMT training program with American Ambulance. Upon completion of the training and National Registry testing, we then transfer you to our Operations department as an EMT, where you will start working on an ambulance.
