Description
I need to move a 30' x 8' RV from Wasilla to Anchorage. RV was damaged in a fire and does not run. Weight is supposedly 4000lbs, before the fire. Afterwards, no idea. Everything above the RV's floor level has been burnt or torn away. Everything below floor level is supposedly fine, save the steering wheel. The RV itself is supposedly steerable, although obviously not driveable.
Because everything above floor level was removed, the height of the RV should not be an issue.
Because of the snow, this haul won't happen for a few weeks, or even a couple months. It's currently covered in snow, and the destination is also covered in snow. But if I can find someone who will do the tow safely and for a reasonable price, we can make it happen sooner rather than later.
I've called some professional towing companies and the quotes all seem unnecessarily high.
If there's someone with professional experience and the right equipment who's looking to make some extra cash, hit me up.
Preferred method of contact is by text, with some information about your experience and equipment type first. Then we'll connect by phone afterwards. I will respond to all texts within twenty-four hours that are not obvious scams, so if I don't reply and this message is still up, I didn't get your message. In that case, feel free to call or email.
