Ideal for College students, especially aviation students. Be selected (apply here ) and attend a 1-2 week introductory training course, where every student gets plenty of hands-on experience flying Enterprise level drones in a professional training environment. You will learn the fundamentals of Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (sUAS) flight operations, wide-area mapping, and data collection/management. Additionally, you will test and receive the FAA’s Part 107 sUAS license with the help of Waller Industries and our in-person trainers. Upon training completion, you will receive a DJI Matrice300 drone in the mail at the location where you'll be staying over the summer of 2022. Conduct daily automated mapping missions of farms/crops within 50 mile radius of your physical location. Upload data into project management software with a reliable/fast internet connection.
