Rehoming our beautiful blue Quaker parrot, Mautarin. (S)he is 8 months old. Please keep in mind parrots are no short term pet. They live on average for 25 years. That being said, they are also fantastic long term pets as they aren’t messy and they don’t stink. S(he) is in great health, wings are clipped, does great with handling, is in the process of being clicker trained (he can target and follow the stick) spends a lot of time outside the cage, he is fed chop and only has seeds as a treat. He is a VERY loud bird about an hour after the sun comes up and stays loud for about 2 hours, then just makes random squaks throughout the day. He loves taking showers with his humans, using his water bowl as a bird bath, scavenging the carpet for any pieces of dropped millet he can find, he has an obsession with paper cups but only if they’re not in his cage. He has been around children of all ages and is great with them. Rehoming him for unexpected personal reasons and asking $1000 because his cage was VERY expensive. Please text 505-six90-41O1
