My lovely in-laws are in their 80s and are in need of some part time care mainly around the house. Some assistance in meal prep, cleaning up after meals and assistance to the grocery store using their car would be great as well. An ex of what a day may look like - 2:00 arrive and assist them with maybe getting coats and/or shoes on. My father in law would most likely drive to the grocery store, but you would help assist them on getting out the car… if they need a hand or just someone to walk near them and grab grocery items that are too high or far back on the shelf. Back at the house put away the groceries and start to prep their dinner, clean up after dinner and run the washer, odd jobs around the house, or conversation etc. The schedule does have some flexibility, but I’d say the hours would be anywhere from 10-28hrs per week (ex. 2-7pm, daily) as time moves on they may need more help, so more hours for you. You can work two days or seven days, we’re ok with hiring more than one person if needed. They are kind and easygoing, and keep a clean home.
