Advice on asthma inhaler

NOT ASKING FOR ANYTHING BUT ADVICE and definitely not for a prescription drug, as per CL guidelines. I had no idea, the price of inhalers, it's disgusting. I'll just ask the question I'm asking myself: what is someone who needs a Flovent inhaler, but doesn't have almost $300, supposed to do? I'm asking for a friend because I sure don't know. I know she has tried everything, including the obvious (hospital, whitebird, churches even) so I'm looking for the not-obvious (an org that does exactly this maybe? I don't know, Goodwill/St. Vinnie's?) Anything you know of. Helpful advice only please, and yes truly asking for a friend, but that's irrelevant, except to trolls.
