Frogton Pond in Francestown NH is currently looking to add to our wonderful team that is responsible for the care of 20 +/- horses as one of our staff members will be returning to college! Those interested should be motivated, work well with others, have clear communication skills, and be self starters. Please read our whole posting before replying. Duties will include: -morning/evening turn in/out and feeding -mucking stalls -paddocks -filling water troughs (no ice breaking as the troughs are heated) -general day-to-day farm maintenance. Shifts: We have 3 general shifts in our days. We are looking for someone that can commit to a minimum of 3 morning shifts (more if desired). Please do not apply for this position if you are unable to commit to morning shifts, which days they are can be flexible. Morning: 7am- 12/1pm. Duties for this shift are feeding and turn-out and stalls in one barn. Aside from morning chores we also have a day-to-day list Mid-Day/evening: 12pm-3/4pm. Duties for this shift are throwing lunch hay, stalls, general farm chores and turn-in/feed Evening: 3pm-finish. Duties include turn-in/feeding, filling water buckets in stalls, feeding evening hay in stalls. Experience is strongly preferred but we are willing to train the right person. This is a part time position that could turn into more. Pay based on experience. Also willing to discuss the possibility of boarding and/or leasing options. We are also happy to offer ride time on one of our horses. We are an easy going facility with laid back staff.
