Description
Looking to play with others.
The specifics: I covered old already…Short, balding, you know, typical old people stuff. NOT an advanced player, sort of. Played a long time and feel I am solid but not technical. Cowboy chords is a good description. Strum and pick a bit. Got hundreds of tunes and, no, not memorized. Mostly last century, but some newer stuff. Whatever sounds good to me, without the concern that a tune is the same as the original.
Fingers do not like Barr chords. Too old to suffer when playing at this point. I want to enjoy playing now. Willing to learn new tunes if I feel I can learn them well enough to not embarrass myself.
Acoustic player.
Enjoy the singing and have a decent voice and usually am on pitch.Everybody has off days, right?
Never liked jams. Would rather be learning and playing songs instead of random playing, but it’s not like a rule…
Alcohol and/or 420 friendly, but not to the point it affects others or the music.
Have gear, lots of gear.
Still employed, but have some time to play with others.
Have a car, know how to drive and so on.
Rather NOT drive a long ways, but, you never know. If it’s worth it…
Would like to play with any instrument that works with acoustic guitar. Another guitar(electric is fine also) any percussion, tuba might be sketchy, but hey! If it works.
I am a TOUCH liberal, but certainly not blindingly stupid. If we are opposites, then there are some things we will not converse about. Simple…
I understand that finding a music partner (s) is difficult. The right fit is hard. I am willing to try if you are. If It doesn’t work, fine.
Thanks for reading and let me know if there is an interest.
