Thank you for allowing me to introduce myself. I am an active composer and musician and oversee the Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music Industry at a university outside of Philadelphia. With over 20 years of teaching experience and a doctoral degree in music, I have taught students of all ages and would like to offer you the opportunity to take private or group lessons. I believe music should be fun, creative, and educational, rooted in the best practices of music theory and pedagogy. I craft my lessons to meet student goals and build on their existing abilities. I offer lessons in Piano, Composition and Songwriting, Music Theory, and Music Technology. Aspiring musicians can also use my services to prepare for a music career or to audition for an undergraduate music program. Music is something that is a part of all of our daily lives and provides enjoyment to all ages. The benefits of learning music and playing an instrument include enhancing brain activity and focus, improving muscle dexterity and coordination, and promoting creativity. No matter what level you are at or if you just want to learn for fun, I would appreciate the opportunity to help you. It is never too late to begin! My schedule is flexible and my rates are competitive. I offer interactive virtual lessons which are safe and convenient, especially during this time of COVID, and only require you to have a cell phone.
