Description
So I'm removing the old drain trip lever stopper plug/bucket and linkage assembly from the overflow and replacing with a simple plate cover as I have installed a toe taper stopper in the floor drain. But A. The damn thing is stuck in there, I assume corrosion and moreover at this point B. the damn linkage assembly feel down in there! I've tried magnets, hooks and an inspection camera (Lizard Cam is garbage, never buy one) but to no avail. I can't see down there, feel anything but I need it out! The internet has provided nothing further. I've use CLR prior to the linkage falling in to try and budge the stopper, nothing. I'm going to pick up a grabber tool and better inspection camera (more $$$! So much for saving by DIY) but desperate for tips, ideas or service from folks more experienced and intelligent than I. What have you got for me, CL brothers and sisters?! I'll take anything. Please text, email or call in that order of preference. Thanks so much!
